If they actually beat the Bruins, Leafs, and Hurricanes, that's every bit as impressive (if not more) than the Flames beating Vancouver, Detroit, and San Jose that year. Incredible.

This final four is just giving the Flames all sorts of reasons not to rebuild.
You have:
- a team that they finished 1 point ahead of
- a team that missed the playoffs last year
- a team that executed a retool not a rebuild
- and a team that built itself largely with few top picks

Where were all these clutch OT goals in Calgary?

Tkachuk with 15 points and a -11 in 27 Flames playoff games while the team went 1-5 in OT. Now with more points on this Florida run where they are 4-0 in OT and he has 3 of the winners. Just sucks to be a Flames fan.

Saying you aren't going to sign an extension isn't the same as requesting a trade.

The Panthers are 6-0 in OT these playoffs!

Western conference teams have no chance against whoever comes from the east.

That's was the knock on him in that draft, had Tanguay-itis. More pass than shoot. Funny how things work their way out.

That Tkachuk guy is pretty decent. Wish Calgary had a player like that..

That's the thing about young pre-apex players.

Tkachuk is tied with Rocket Richard, Corey Perry and Mel Hill for most playoff OT goals in a single season, and is tied with Ferraro, Oates and Iggy for most playoff OT points in a single season.

Oilers are out, tkachuk didn’t want to be in calgary, so I’m not thinking any more past that besides enjoying playoff hockey without much emotion. Tkachuk is fun as hell to watch, and the walk-offs after winning goals are hilarious.

All the Flames have to do is steal a couple of badly managed superstars from another team and we're all set.

I think that's what I like about him the most, he's a real character in a league that needs them, the other stars are plastic Ken dolls or in the case up north smug conceited arseholes.

Tkachuk from Bennett. Just making the Flames organization look more incompetent with every passing game.

Watched the bennet tkachuk post game presser and the difference between them is pretty amusing. Tkachuk- laughing, talkative, amusing. Has actual personality. Bennett- no emotion, standard dumb hockey answers. possibly less personality than Mcdiver. And that’s really saying something.

I love Bennett’s playoff game… but loosen up bud.

The think I miss most about him is how much opposing players and fans hate him. It's hilarious how much he pissed people off.

Loosen up? Johnny Gaudreau was on Spittin Chiclets talking about the team “just chillin’” after game one against Edmonton because they scored “like 14 goals in game one”. It’s the Stanley Cup playoffs. You wanna win? You need to be dialed the entire journey.

Good on Sam. No joking around until it’s over

Murray Edwards must be licking his chops. Stay the course! It's worked so well for this organization.
