I will be pleased if Canada can manage to just lose by 0-1.

If Canada scores a goal it would be amazing.

Canada's formation seems to leave them a bit thin at the back. The less time they spend passing it around back there and involving the keeper the better. Quick ups and let the midfield and strikers take it.

Lots to be happy about, but teams the caliber of Belgium can punish you in an instant.

Great first half, unfortunate to be 1-0 down.

You can NOT be mad about that performance so far. Yes we're down but boy are we giving them all kinds of trouble.

Man Davies still looks hurt to me, doesn’t have his normal pace.

I know he’s the guy, but coming off an injury I’d have David taking that PK

We were the better team in that half, I hope we can maintain that energy.

Belgiums centre backs are a bit slow, but they are on another planet talent-wise compared to ours.

Not sure if it's the formation or simply aggressively pushing forward, it certainly leaves us open to counters.

Don't hate it though, you gotta take risks against the best in the world and this half showed we can play with them.

Will need a really good second half though, I think Belgium are going to settle down more.

This is beyond even the highest expectations.
Can they keep up th pressure and pace when pressing high with 3 and the midfield too? It was working and had Belgium puzzled, but it leaves our already average back end, exposed, clearly. And it's tiring to do the amount of running they are.

Fantastic first half by Canada despite the score line. They are exposing Belgium and getting their chances, they just haven’t had that final show of class in the box.

Herdman will have them coming out strong in the second. They can win this game.

Go Canada Go!!!

Yes, you can. They're playing well but they've been a bit of a mess at the back and their finishing has been subpar. Even average finishing would have them up 3-1.

The pressure of the first goal seems to be there.

In a hockey analogy, they are gripping their sticks too tight. Some really good chances that should have ended in the back of the net.

Great first half though. Hopefully they can keep it up in the second. Wouldn’t mind Adekugbe coming in for Laryea. Laryea made some good runs, but his passes at times were not in the best areas.

I’m still disappointed by the penalty. That was huge.
