Varlamov is playing fine. He has made one save that I'd characterize as "above average." He's being a good goaltender, which I understand is a rare sight for a lot of Flames fans -- myself included.
He's a guy the Flames should really target in FA this summer.

LOL, what? How is calling a team rocking a really poor shooting percentage "lacking finish" a proclamation with evidence that is difficult to find

Varlamov is dialed in. At no point have I thought that he was guessing on a play. He's anticipating extremely well, playing angles perfectly, and letting out no significant rebounds. You can't ask anything more from a goalie.
