Such an infuriating team to watch these days. That arena was dead and the Oilers looked like garbage, even McDavid wasn’t skating, ripe for the taking. And then, another stellar powerplay sucks all momentum away and a pretty soft goal against followed up by an odd man rush and just like that you’re tied all of a sudden.
Wake up and win the third period. I’m so sick and tired of losing to this putrid team. Go into the all star break on a high because god knows how long it will take to get your game back after this break.

PP could have put them away but I don't think that is what turned the momentum...gotta make a save there

Natural stat trick has 5 on 5 High Danger Chances 12-4 in favour of Calgary. No matter how hard the power play tries to sabotage tonight, I still believe they're going to pull if off!

The 2nd goal against was due to Guadreau's turnover in the offensive zone. He threw across a low percentage pass to Mony which created the turnover. He is the goat for that goal. He could have dump the puck in and chase.....just too casual with the puck during unfavorable momentum swings

They used to start slow and finish strong. After much criticism they corrected the slow starts, but now have forgotten to play the rest of the game the same way.
