Going to disagree with you there. Gio is playing poorly today and did get beat by Yakupov, but if Frolik stayed with Berglund and tied him up instead of peeling off, there would have been no one to redirect the puck and hence, no 4th goal.
Frolik and Berglund were right next to each other from the Flames blueline in.

I can't imagine him telling Gio to not only take an obvious dumb penalty but then follow it up with an unsportsmanlike penalty.
Did he tell Monahan to turn it over and not skate hard back and not do anything in the corners for 6 straight games?
And pretty sure he didn't tell Gio to get burnt by the scrub Yakupov. People blaming the coach are letting the players off the hook.
