Im of the opinion that E2 would dominate the WHL. I think based on this week's showing he could easily be sheltered in the AHL and move up the lineup as needed. It is early, but what a draft pick. Theirs no other team of scouts that I would trust more than Button and co. at this point.
Assuming Tuulola can play in the AHL, is there a spot for him to get in the top 9 minutes in enough games to develop on the right side?
Pribyl
Poirier
Smith
Caroll
Vey
Hathaway
F. Hamilton
all play that side. Assuming one makes the NHL and two are tossed down the middle, that's still not a ton of spots.

E2 is either staying in Finland or going to Everett. Treliving did not toss the A as an option.

That's some pretty nice camerawork, CG. I wasn't paying a whole lot of attention to your tablet as we were watching but I'm amazed you were able to keep the picture as smooth as you did. Props!
Edit: Here's a gif of the Phillips goal, for all of ya who want to relive the glory of it again and again:

Great to hear all the positives on Brandon Hickey, especially that he's up to almost 210lbs.
6'2 210lb Dman that can skate like him, and is excellent defensively. I was admittedly a tad worried with the drop in offense for him this past season, but he looks like he might be a top notch shut down D one day, but a shut down D that can skate and move/pass the puck. Ala Karl Alzner or Niklas Hjalmersson for example.
I think that this point you have to be concerned about Andersson's lack of conditioning. It is one thing to come into your first pro camp not in shape, but to come into your second prospect camp, and still have it be an issue - even after is was specifically identified by the organization - is a real red flag.
Hopefully he gets it together. The last guy that went down this route was Ryan Howse

Admittedly Andersson isn't as out of shape as he was last year. Still though, needs to lose about 10-15 pounds of fat. Was more 20-25 pounds last year.

I would worry more if it continues once he goes pro. He's still young, and even Johnny was admittedly eating horribly before he joined the Flames. It didn't impact his game, really, but a lot of responsibility to seek out the proper resources is on the player before they turn pro. Rasmus doesn't have the same resources available to him that the pros have.
If he goes to the AHL this year and it doesn't get better, I'd be concerned. But it looks like he was more concerned with slimming than he was with high cardio.
I wouldn't worry, yet.
