Sweeney said he wasn't going to trade Rask. More likely Jones is traded.

Here's a board as good as any. Anybody who says they there is no board is just being obtuse because it's a consensus opinion.

hahahahaha. Oh, okay. You know Bob McKenzie is tuning a phrase, right?
There is no magical board, there is also no Easter Bunny or Santa Clause.
Each scout has their own lists and teams form there own list within that. Bob McKenzie's list is just an amalgamation of various discussions he's had but it is by no means an all powerful board, one board that rules them all.

If we get a first rounder for wideman and then take someone like Carlo, Konecny or another sleeper I am getting totally drunk tonight and probably getting a Hamilton jersey asap regardless.
What a glorious day. But it can get even better. Come on BRAD!!!!

I think the plan has always been to go D, was hoping with Barzal falling he might move up
but most Canucks fans would be happy with Kylington or Roy

wonder what Kings would even really have to offer for the Flames... no young goalie anymore, no picks...

NOW it has to be Konecny, right?
If he doesn't go here, I guess he's falling hard. Who would know him better than Ottawa scouts?

I said once before tonight, but Wideman has a full NTC, doubt he considers waiving it in time for the Flames to get into the 1st.

If this draft in particular, and every draft in general, have taught us anything...it's that there is in no way, shape, or form a single "board".
Clearly there is NO concensus by the teams and their scouts, so how in the world can there be a "board" that everyone else should be following?

Dustin Brown maybe? Seems like the kind of player the Flames might covet.

Ryan Rishaug @TSNRyanRishaug
Based on Hamilton deal today, looks like an overpay on Reinhart. He'll be an important piece but there was quality there after B's picks.

Down Goes Brown @DownGoesBrown
Underrated jerk move at the NHL draft: Having the GM babble on, then introduce a different guy to make the actual pick.

Didn't see you post it, and didn't realise he had a NTC. Dream is over.

Why do you care so much if some people believe there is a general consensus or average where most players will be drafted?
