I guess Ferland is the only guy that gets a penalty for dropping the mitts... Way to keep it consistent NHL.

Because Johnny kept right on playing, and you don't get calls like that. NHL refs reward players who heave themselves to the ice, burst into tears, and do a couple of log-rolls for good measure.

The thing is that Ferland hasn't fought much in the NHL and I don't know if there is a book on him yet. From what I can recall of his fights he throws uppercuts from his shoelaces and if it lands people go to sleep.
