Ugh. Why does this always happen? I'd rather read about Jankowski than another stupid sexism debate.

Clearly not you.
Someone posted that it wasn't sexist, because women were chanting too. Which makes no sense.
It is sexist, but I agree it was funny and who cares really.

Random Q that I just thought of (and considering what the series is at, probably not relevant):
If the Jets come back to win the series, and then win in round 2, do they get to hang a "Pacific Division Champions" banner in their barn, despite being a Central Division team?
I guess my real question is, in this current format, when are you crowned "division champions"? I know the past 20 years it was for finishing first place at the end of the season, due to the conference playoff format. But back in the previous, divisional format - like it now is again - you only got it for getting past the 2nd round of the playoffs, regardless of record.
Just curious, as if it's the latter, it could lead to some awkward banners for future Cinderella, wild card teams.

Apologies, a rare triple post. Maybe this is a sign I finally need to update from my Galaxy 3...

I`m sure it was hilarious, some sexist jokes are funny. Again, doesn`t mean it wasn`t sexist.

But you're saying the crowd should not have done it, or was wrong to do it?

Had an idea!

Feel bad for the Jet fans, but talk about a team blowing it.
Maybe Maurice should start paying more attention to the lack of discipline and focus that so many of his players have.
Pretty glaring mistakes, penalties and all around brainfarts being made all game long.

Is calling a team that does well against all odds a Cinderella team Sexist? Cause if so Sainters 3 posts are offensive to me.
If its not then I find it Sexist and offensive that Cinderella does not get her proper due when it comes to metaphors just because shes a woman.

Couldn't care less to be honest. But anyone why thinks it wasn't sexist is lying to themselves.

as irritating as it was that the sexism discussion suddenly took over in here when there's already a perfectly good thread for it, these specific responses are even worse. not original, not funny. this is from the "what's the deal with airplane food" or "guys always leave the toilet seat up" book of wit.

I thought it was hilarious. I think it will stop being funny very quickly, but in the moment it was very funny.

You are missing the sarcasm in my post.............both are ridiculous things for an adult to do given the loss of a hockey game.
But if you want to go down the manly path have at it.....

I think he paid attention to this a long time ago as this has been an ongoing issue. It's pretty clear they simply have some selfish players on the roster.

sorry, I'm better now, that's what happens on a pre-lunch empty stomach.
for at least another few days, go Jets! do everything in your power to weaken our next opponent, if that is to be. give all the Ducks a back of the head Buff special if need be.
