Not in the World Championships. Canada's too stacked for him, the only undrafted 2014 draftees to play were because their teams lacked depth.

Because his team had a stretch of 3 games in 3 days and the Fronts are locked into 6th so they sat a few players out on the 3rd game.

To be honest, even though Sam didn't play I'm pretty sure he somehow deserves an assist on the lone goal by the Frontenacs as he most likely willed the play to happen but he couldn't be awarded a point because of the technicality of not playing.
This kid is determined.
