I will be absolutely shocked if Brady's suspension isn't reduced to 1 or 2 games.

Chiefs are about to pay Justin Houston the richest linebacker deal in the NFL and more than JD Watt. Good for him bad for the Chiefs I think. Great player, but too much money for that position. Hes not even regarded as a top 25 player in the league. Most people don't even know who he is.

I'd easily take Dez over Thomas. Thomas' numbers are greatly inflated due to playing with Payton.

Saints to release DE Junior Galette, barring physical (yes, he has to pass a physical to get released). Oh how things change just a year after signing a massive, long-term deal.
22 sacks the past 2 seasons, but between legal issues and never being able to shut his mouth, he kinda shot himself in the foot. I was never really a fan of his, always seemed like a loudmouth moron, and never seemed to fit that "Saints culture" under Payton.
I'm sure he'll still get some looks around the league. As long as teams aren't scared off by his off field issues, he's certainly a productive player.

Apparently Lesean McCoy is planning himself a sexy party.

The start of NFL training camps is quickly approaching, and some players are trying to enjoy their last bit of summer before the grind of the season begins. Bills running back LeSean McCoy is among them and is throwing a party on July 26. He even invited people from social media!
And by people I mean women who are 21 years old or older, have a photo ID and sign a confidentiality agreement without knowing where the party will occur, other than in "Philadelphia/New Jersey" or what will happen at it. McCoy initially posted an advertisement for the party on his Instagram account, before deleting it.
If you sent an email to the RSVP email address, this is the response you received back.

Anyone been to a game at Cowboys Stadium yet? I'm thinking of going down this year for the Nov. 8th Cowboys/Eagles game. Just wondering if anyone has tips on where to stay and how to get to and from the stadium. Sounds like the latter aspect is a bit of a hassle.

Looks like Brady's suspension is remaining at 4 games. Not giving up your personal cell phone and/or possibly knowing about a ball boy messing around with footballs warrants the same penalty as beating up your girlfriend as far as the NFL is concerned.

Stephen A Smith said this morning he heard Brady destroyed the phone. Of course it's Stephen A so it was dismissed but looks like he was right. The suspension has 1% to do with deflating and 99% to do with not co-operating and, from the sounds of it, obstructing the investigation. Another textbook example of the cover up being worse than the crime, if they just came out day 1 and admitted it, probably a fine and maybe a draft pick. Instead here we are.

Reminder: Roger Goodell never gave up his personal phone in the Mueller investigation. He and league officials turned over work devices

It's been confirmed Brady did in fact have the cell phone destroyed. Destroying evidence is essentially admitting guilt. We all know Brady was involved in deflating balls and I'm personally glad it's played out with a suspension. Nobody is above the game.

Didn't say it wasn't hypocritical, because its Goodell after all, but what did Brady expect when he destroyed the phone? A free pass? Goodell eats even more ####, and gets accused of favouritism, if he gives him a free pass for destroying the phone. Ironic part is now to sue and appeal the phone evidence has to be given up anyways.

The phone company can still dig up the texts correct?

Shouldn't you blame the NFLPA for defending said wife/girlfriend beaters and getting their suspensions reduced and not the NFL for losing appeals?

Oh sure. Aaron Hernandez thought destroying the phone meant the evidence went away...not so much. Brady surely must have known it would come to this...or maybe he thought he'd get away with destroying the phone.

I am fine with Brady getting punished. They tried to cheat, then destroyed evidence, and acted smug when he thought he wouldn't be caught.
I hate the comparisons to Rice/Peterson though. It is completely different as one is for a personal off field issue and one is for an on the field issue, that could have impacted the results of a playoff game, and is breaking a direct league of the rule.

Yeah, and the former is infinitely more important than the latter.

I can't believe the arbitrator gave a favorable ruling on the Commissioner's original decision - it's like those 2 people were in cahoots.
