Ugh, after a set of plays by Sinclair, Tancredi with a terrible chance on net.

Sessleman with a terrible, terrible terrible play gifting the first to England.

And now down a second because McLeod isn't tall enough and can't jump high enough.

This isn't on TSN, but the turning point was the horrible Tancredi miss .

Or the Canaidans rushing up the field after the first English goal and everyone with the ball ignoring their teammates as each girl who got it tried to do it all by herself until it got knocked off her foot.

There was a lot of bad decision making in that five minute span. Hopefully Sinclair's team huddle helps them refocus at at least help keep this interesting.

Canada has carried the play. The score is frustrating.

Ehh Canada hasn't been able to score in this tournament, period. Don't like our chances here.

We've been making big mistakes all tournament long, and now we play a team that can capitalize on our mistakes.

Yeah, we'll be lucky to get one. Feel really bad for those fans, they're basically going to watch Canada's patented offensive rush 50 or so times and then go home; Pass, pass, kick away.

Meh, the amateur-nish runs both ways, I expect to see a few terrible errors from England's defense/goaltending.

Next goal wins IMO. If Canada can get the next one, England will be (pardon the Jose term) "parking the bus", and at this level, that's not going to work.

Also, England's coach is very slimy and ratty looking individual, maybe its just the terrible hair cut.

Finally, after another one that McLeod can't reach due to height, I just can't understand how a World Cup team can't have a goalie who can't reach the top 1/5 of the net.

I don't see how next goal wins when we haven't scored 3 goals in 20+ matches.

No. That goal is because we HAVE ONE JOB ON A SET PIECE, cover effing Lucy Bronze. And we put 5'3" Chapman there with zero help.

That's unfortunate that the world cup excitement across Canada effectively gores away tonight. People can argue that there's lots of tickets sold for finals matches, but that won't be indicative of interest levels across the country.

We needed that eh.

I was just gonna say I think Schimdt is gonna fight somebody and get sent off before this game is through.

I strongly dislike our chances on penalties so we have to win it in reg or ET.

There we go!

Poor goaltending gives up that rebound...keep pouring it into the England box, I expect a penalty at some point with a handball or clumsy challenge.
