Inside joke = We all hated Tim/Tom (whatever his name is) for screwing us before, so we renamed him... And now we laugh a lot because Wotherspoon + Granlund >>>>> Erixon

Never doubted it. Ok, I doubted it a little. Alright, I was really worried.

What would be the point in having JG play in Sunday's game, especially considering he's a 20 year old 5ft 5" kid that weighs 150 lbs and who has never played a professional game in his life? Plus, he will probably have zero or very little practice time with the Flames before the game.
What's he going to learn by playing the Canucks?.... how to dive professionally?

He makes cammalleri expendable so they can trade him for Drouin

Having him play that game and then losing one of his entry level years might have been a bargaining chip the Flames play to get him to sign. Brings a potential bigger contract to JG one year earlier.

I would figure it is to give him a taste of the speed of the NHL game and what it is going to take in the off season for him to have a shot at making it come training camp.

Even though I kind of am not really sure if there is any reason for doing it except as an incentive for JG to sign immediately, screw this guy. I hate Bleacher report, their NHL coverage is pathetic.
Dave Lozo @DaveLozo 7m
The Flames burning an entire year of Johnny Gaudreau's contract so he can play in one game this season would be the Flamesiest thing ever.

This yahoo is probably just getting to the table after we have already been eating for 45 minutes, then he wonders why the peas are cold and there is no gravy left.

Here's the update: Can confirm Gaudreau and Arnold will sign with the #Flames, and will be available for Sunday in Vancouver.
