Great series so far, this matchup is fantastic. Every game really close, lots of physical play and animosity building up, both sides paying the price. This is better than I thought it'd be, I hope it keeps up the next 2-3 games.

Great game to watch. Lots of excitement though Boston tries to make things boring. I can't help but cheer for Chicago.

CHI let BOS off the hook in the first period of Game 2. Should be up 3-1 now.

Incredible game last night. Who would have thought a 6-5 OT game was in store.
A lot of mistakes made by both teams, several Hawks broke their slumps.
When you look at the players on Boston who were -2 or more it is quite a list.
Chara -3
Seidenberg -2
Bergeron -2
Marchand -3
Seguin -3
Horton continues his amazing +23 run being somehow +1 last night.
Boston did score 2 on the PP so that does balance things out somewhat but there is no doubt the series fully on now.
It was amazing how these 2 teams traded big goal for big goal.
Game 5 as the late great Ed Whalen would say is going to be a ring a ding dong dandy!

News from the 'Hawks practice on Friday...Hossa did NOT participate...they have been using Mayers as a placeholder...I don't expect any real news on Hossa until Q has to submit his active roster on Saturday.

Oil...Q is always, let us say, less than candid, about injuries...I wouldn't take Q's word as a slam dunk that Hossa will play on Saturday.

The Stanley Cup Final hit a series-high in viewership on Wednesday night.
Game 4 of the Blackhawks/Bruins NHL Stanley Cup Final drew a 3.8 final rating and 6.5 million viewers on NBC Wednesday night, up 217% in ratings and 212% in viewership from Devils/Kings Game 4 on NBC Sports Network last year (1.2, 2.1M), and up 138% in both measures from Canucks/Bruins Game 4 on Versus in 2011 (1.6, 2.7M).
Wednesday’s game ranks as the most-viewed Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final since at least 1987, and the most-viewed non-clinching game of any kind since at least 2001 (complete viewership prior to 2002 was not available).
The 3.8 rating for Game 4 is also the second-best for a non-clinching game since Stars/Devils Game 5 in 2000 (4.2), trailing only last week’s Game 1 (3.9).
Through four games, the Blackhawks/Bruins series has averaged a 3.1 U.S. rating and 5.4 million viewers on NBC and NBC Sports Network — up 107% in ratings and 118% in viewership from Kings/Devils through the same point last year (1.5, 2.5M), and up 55% and 57%, respectively, from Bruins/Canucks in 2011 (2.0, 3.4M).
The series ranks as the most-viewed Stanley Cup Final through four games since at least 1987.

True but Bos let Chi off the hook in the third period of game 1, should be up 3-1 now and that would be true too.

The difference being that Boston didn't have a 2-0 goal called back.

Questionable call for sure but there was also the argument that Hossa pushed Rask's pad in with his stick anyways. My point beingother than game 3 either team could have won any of the games, so 2-2 is probably what it should be at.
