I'd say Team USA, because I really think they are better in the WJC these days, owning the U-18 and U-20.

Outside of the fact they aren't close to better in either you may have a point.

Like I said earlier, you're living in the past. Canada's last U-20 championship is from 2009. USA has won 2 times after that.

Also the U-18, past 5 years, USA has won it 4 times, Canada won it this year, but before that it was 2008.

But sure, make up your excuses now. Nothing indicates that Canada has been the dominant force in WJC.

Pretty many have touched them, or are they the best team but they just cough the games up when it matters? It's just because they played bad, don't give credits to the opponents!

Bummer for Ottawa.

Bye Bye Senators.

I feel the same watching them. There were periods in the 7-3 game where they finally started showing what they can do, but most of the time they're just not seeming to play at 100%. When they do start playing their best they look unstoppable and are a team to marvel at. A real pleasure to watch. I think there was one goal in game 5 where the Pens had 16 straight connections without Ottawa touching the puck before it went in the net. That kind of play is such a treat.

I don't like Pitts chances against Boston . They are too soft defensively and make too much mistake that will provide chances to guys like Lucic Bergeron Horton and jagr. The only real chance is if task lets in a couple of softies per game

i think pittsburg and boston will be a hell of a series. i would give the bruins the edge due to a more effective d corpse (defensively) and better goaltending. both teams have extremely deep forwards, so should be a very fun series.

Haha, good riddance Sens. Highly enjoyed them getting blown out the last two games and having Alfredsson give up on the team.

I have a hard time believing a corpse on d would be overly effective against Pittsburgh. Maybe Vancouver, but not the Penguins.

Pens offense is going to eat up the B's beat up defense. Series won't be close IMO.

Just listening to the Senators post game interviews a lot of respect being paid Pittsburghs way, especially from Paul Maclean. Those Senators are a classy bunch.

What!?? You got 2 flat tires back to back on the way to the game? Wow...

I've been quiet because I'm obviously biased, but man I disagree with what the sentiment here seems to be

-From what I gather the thoughts seem to accuse the Pens of being this floating type team that just wins because of skill. I really think the Pens are a very hard working / grind it out team. Look at the forwards they have : Adams, Cooke, Crosby, Dupuis, TK, Kunitz, Geno, Morrow, Neal, Sutter. Jokinen / Iggy (in his current state) are the only guys that play a finesse type of game

Anyways, I think with the B's beat up D it won't be much of a series. The islanders are >>> the current Bruins imo. Really feel like the Islanders were heavily underrated (said that before the series), they are a FAST team that was tearing apart the East before the playoffs. I the Pens not being able to keep up wit the Isles led to the above sentiment, but really no one could keep up with the Islanders pace at the end of the season

I didn't actually follow this series too closely, but watching the last game, Cooke was a beast! Sure he's got a bad rep and makes some real dumb decisions sometimes. But I don't think there's any denying this guy is a heart and soul player. And first to the puck, making plays (at least last game). Would love a few more players like him on the Flames (maybe a tad less dirty), but I love a rough, chippy game too.

Pittsburgh's only real chance is if Rask lets in a couple of softies every game? Good lord.

Cooke hasn't been playing dirty that I've seen, but he certainly has been good. He's been an impressive player in many of the games these playoffs. The Pens third and fourth lines are outstanding.

Damn is sucks to be wrong...on every point you made.

I'm pretty sure the Sens got embarrassed. Alfie threw in the towel for the Sens after game 4. This series should have been a sweep anyways. It wasn't even close.

The Isles would have pumped the Sens.
