It's also funny that good teams overcome adversity, excpet of course the Packers last year who couldn't win the division "because of the injuries" from what you said. So all good teams overcome adversity, except the Packers when their players get hurt
Dude, they won the Super Bowl with all of those injuries...and from an inferior playoff position! How is that NOT overcoming adversity??

San Diego is still a bunch of underachievers. That team is going nowhere with Norv as head coach.

That remains to be seen.

Good lord man...they had 15 guys on IR heading in to 2 must win games(includiong the Bears who could of knocked them out)...just to get into the post season...then they won 4 straight games on the road to win the Super Bowl...and they didnt overcome adversity?

Oh...and the final stats are the Packer D gave up 292 yds, had 3 sacks and 2 turnovers...and held the Bears to 13 yds rushing.....but yeah the Bears really exposed them. Laugh.

He's not elite but he's smart and a good caretaker for the offence. He's made all the plays they have needed out of the passing game. Since he's taken over the offence the Raiders have been a top 10 offence going back to last year.

Yeah, I don't disagree, but there may come a time when they need the QB to win the game for them. I don't know that he's that guy, especially in the playoffs.

LOL don't get carried away. This team isn't playoff ready. The defense is banged up right now as they were moving safety's to CB today.

How could the Cardinals lose to the Seahawks. I thought they were in the Luck sweepstakes with the Chiefs and Colts but I guess it's hard to finish last overall when you play in the NFC West as the teams are all so bad that some of the bad teams will beat each other.

So the Bears were forced into a passing situation. Forte still racked up almost 100 total yards. Fact is that Green Bay has given up +1000 yards in the first 3 games of the seaosn, one of those teams being last season's #32 team.
I still find it cute that Green Bay's excuse for not winning the division was injuries, yet when the Bears start 3/5 Olineman that havent seen legit starting time, they are blamed for the inability to overcome anything.

Huge win for the Bucs, feels good to finally be able to beat Atlanta. The D was much better today then they've been so in the first two weeks. Would have loved for Houston to win this morning and help us out, but that was just a fun game to watch.

Really looking forward to next week's Monday nighter with the Colts!

No matter how you slice it...3-0. Simple as that.

When you lose 1/3 of your team to IR....then you have something.

Til then? Nothing but whining.

Campbell's been a good quarterback for Oakland. He may not be overly flashy, but he doesn't turn the ball over, which is huge. I hope they continue to beat the other AFC East teams and help the Buffalo Bills.

Haha. As long as it fits your team's personal agenda then.

Good thing the Bears are down to about roughly 2/3 of their starting roster then

No idea what "personal agenda" the Packers have.....other than winning.

Again...the Packers went on a run unprecedented in NFL history last year and did it with 15 guys on IR that started the season. Its never happened before. But they persevered and were fortunate that Rogers wasnt one of the guys that got hurt.

Just another example of good teams overcoming adversity? Packers lost Nick Collins last week for the year. A 3 time pro bowl player. So what happens today? The other safety Morgan Burnett steps up and makes two picks.....its what good teams do. Brady goes down week 1 but Belichik still guides hi club to 11 wins. Rothlisburger misses 4 games to start the year...Steelers go 3-1 without him.

Of course injuries affect a team....no idea who would think otherwise, but its how you respond to those injuries that seperate teams. Obviously some positons are worse than others...but last i looked the Bears are still able to sign O linemen or trade for them if need be...but their GM is a dufus that thinks all is OK. 13 yds rushung...against this horrible (according to you) defense? As brutal as it gets.
