Right. But if you are performing equal to your budget spot that doesn't imply management is doing a terrible job and needs to be replaced.
I'm not saying they're the second coming of Billy Beane, but they're doing a reasonable job. Firing them is probably an overreaction.

Interesting to me that they didn't leave in Hicks. Faced 3 batters and only threw 11 pitches taking out the top of their order. Seems like he could have thrown a second inning.

Seems like that every game. One game I remember Hicks threw 7 pitches in a smooth inning then got pulled the next inning.

He’s had several not so great outings since coming off of the DL. His ERA+ is just above average…Schneider has overused him (thanks to our inept bats) and he just seems to have lost the magic that he had.
