I think Scott Walker is currently radicalizing the people.

Yes, and the graph shows political division coming out of the civil war. There's no reason it should be higher now, it's ludicrous. No wonder the country can't function.
Just listening to this, imagine for a moment what Bill Clinton sounds like giving a speech, and the realize how much better the DNC is inevitably going to be.

^Bill Clinton is the ultimate speaker. You didn't need to bring out the best to make these guys look bad.

Too many...just listening to Scott Walker actually made my stomach turn. I am kind of afraid of what we might experience over the course of the next four years.

Is there a schedule for the speakers? I need to go out for a bit but I want to watch the train wreck.

Some of the hysteria is the same.
Going to a political convention these days is like going to a team draft party.
Not a place i would want to be even if you paid me.

I wonder if the campaign itself is spreading rumours of a potential train wreck to get people to tune in and simultaneously lower expectations to a point where even modest praise sounds like the best that could be hoped for.

Well, not the same message, but the same level of sycophantic crowds.

The DNC will be boring most of the time, but being able to put up a lineup of Obama, Michelle, Biden, Bill, Bernie and Warren means their big moments will go much better and be better (if less trainwreck entertaining) at capturing the audience.

I think this is a real possibility.
I would be advising a similar strategy if I was involved.
Over promise and under deliver the crazy. Get the hype train to leave the station.
