As long as they don't get that, Israel will control the borders, seek out the last of the tunnels, and inflict a lot of misery as they fight an urban counterinsurgency.

It's a different situation from Vietnam or Iraq where the borders are vast and ultimately not controllable. Now that Israel controls the Egypt border, there is no longer a means for substantial quantities of munitions to cross to Hamas' hands.

Yet what most zionists fail to see is that their ethnonationalist ideology is more similar to Nazism than whatever Hamas believes in.

Unfortunately, if Netanyahu drops dead tomorrow night, another zionist lunatic would take up the torch and we would be in the exact same place as we are today. Once this is all over, I hope Israelis can finally see their neighbours as human beings rather than animals that need to be eradicated.

If only Israel had the right leader so Hamas wasn't forced to murder 1200 civilians and take hundreds of hostages. Seems strange that the families of hostages would be protesting Netanyahu. Aren’t we being told that he definitely wants the hostages released? What is there to protest?

Oh, right, when you want indefinite war more than you want hostages released, a ceasefire is off the table. Should be completely obviously to anyone by now what the priorities of guys like Gvir and his biggest supporters like Nage are. Disgusting.

The best thing that can happen at this point is that Netanyahu agrees to Biden’s proposal, the far right elements abandon Netanyahu, and he exists as a figurehead held up by the opposition just long enough to satisfy his ego and is then put out to pasture forever.
