Whew...never did I actually think the Hitmen wuold go into Brandon and win both.
Hitmen have played a lot of games these playoffs already and I think its crucial to win game 5 at home and get a much needed rest. You don't want to let Brandon back in.

Hitmen up 2-0 after the first period. Hitmen came out pretty strong in this one so far. Hopefully they don't let off the gas. Maybe that's wishful thinking.

3-0 for the Hitmen with a quick PP goal a few seconds into the 2nd period.

So, I'm a little lost. A win tonight, means a birth in the memorial? Or one more series win?

Hitmen would have to win the WHL title to get in the Memorial Cup. So another round after this vs TriCity or Vancouver. Brandon is in no matter what happens since they're the hosts.

Awesome, thanks. But assuming Calgary beats Brandon they are the favorite in the next round right?

Hitmen were the top team during the regular season so I would say yes they are the favourites. They'll have home ice advantage.

Suddenly a huge penalty-fest.
about 6 Unsportsmanlike like penalties in the last 3 minutes, 3 guys with 10 minute misconducts, including Schenn for shooting the puck out of play after a whistle

Woohoo! Hitmen off to the finals again. They saved their best game in the series till the end. They should be better prepared this year than last year for the finals and the opposition whether Vancouver or Tri-City aren't as strong as Kelowna was for the Hitmen last year.

Ken Thrower at it again tonight on the fan 960 after the game ended and Brad Curle does his horrific "sweeeeeeeeeeet victory" Ken follows it up and makes up for it by doing a great song "don't stop believing, hold on to that feeeeeeeeeeeeeelingggggggggg"

Windsor was down to Kitchener 3-0 in the series. They now have come back and tied the series 3-3. Game 7 would be a beauty to watch.

Little disappointed in all the cheap shots and stupidity from Brandon to end that game. Glennie, frankly, should have gotten 5 + game for that late high stick. There was nothing accidental about that.
In the end, the difference was that our secondary scoring showed up and theirs didn't. Lotta respect for the talent on the Wheat Kings though. Whoever makes the Memorial Cup wont want to face them in the final.

Great game, but agree about the Wheaties actions after things got out of hand. Schenn shouldn't have been allowed to come back after almost bashing a little kid after his temper tantrum...and Calvert spit blood towards the fans after getting beat by MacKenzie, luckily didn't make it over the glass (got a picture of it too haha)
Ah well, they're done and we're not! LETS GO HITMEN!!

Utter domination by the good guys. DeSerres made some real nice saves but it was Hitmen night.
My first WHL game tonite and it was fun, we succeeded in hiding Farley's drum for couple of minutes.
Some interesting things though, Schenn got a 10 min misconduct for shooting the puck at the glass? was there more to this?
My buddy really likes that McKenzie fellow, good player.
No worries about jinx for these Hitmen, they took their championship and raised it above their heads.
Thats all I can remember. Brandon had no chance tonite.

I dunno...what do you guys think? Isn't having the host team in the Cup tourney kind of lame? I don't imagine anyone from Brandon is thinking so right now but......I think it's pretty dumb getting eliminated and then they're right back in it after resting for two weeks. Meanwhile the rest of the teams beat each other up. Stupid.
