haha, in all seriousness I am argumentative and love a good debate but don't generally vest myself too greatly in the argument itself. I enjoy being a hard ass in an argument because it forces the other side to really focus their point.

Or looking at it slightly different, good discussions/debates have to have 'clash' and I am willing to be the other side of that clash. When I first started posting on boards like this in 1996(?) there were so few posters that discussions did not take off unless people were willing to polarize their stances a bit.

I am not going to take the other side of a debate and then apologize if someones feelings get hurt though, people need to be confident enough in their opinion that my stance doesn't matter - if that makes sense?

Outside of that I am a pretty happy, confident, out-going, super-flirty (with girls!) type guy though, like 'life of the party' kind of thing...

No, the first one is Snow Peak/Burstall Pass and the second one is half way up Mount Sparrowhawk!

I agree though, it is good to put faces to names!

I might have to be a bit more flirty with all of these girls around though! haha

Burstall Pass is fantastic, great vistas with minimal effort for the main 6km(?) trail (12km r/t?). But then at the pass itself you have a choice of scrambles if you want more challenge that add to the degree of difficulty. HIGHLY recommended especially if you have a mixed group of hikers.

Sparrowhawk is satisfying as it is one of the tallest mountains around Calgary (11,000feet?), but it is straight-up steep hiking for ~4500feet, half of which is heavy scree slopes, with only so-so views. The views at the very top are inspiring though, as you have the entire Rocky Mountains rolling in towards you like waves in the ocean. I hear in winter you can ski down, it was the 'other' choice for the 1988 Olympic ski hill before they picked Mount Allen/Nakiska.

Off topic, but if anyone ever wants to go they are both easily found on the internet....

I'll work up the courage to post a pic of myself once I find time....AKA when I'm procrastinating or after finals.
