That onside kick when they were up 35-17 was just plain funny.

Vince Young goes home back to Texas, and singlehandedly wins that game...big emotion after for the usually reserved Young.
As an observer, I still think the Texans should've somehow traded Carr away at the draft, got some decent players for him, and drafted Vince Young #1.

If there was a way to stick the 91 defence with this offence.

Are the Saints the best team in the NFC now?
I thought Dallas was heading into this week.
Gotta be New Orleans. Huge win.

No doubt! Where is all the "Romo is the Messiah" bull**** we've been inundated with from the media. I think my favorite part of the game was the way we ran it down their throats from our own five, down to their five, taking up most of the fourth and then just kneeled, in a mercy like fashion, gold! Hopefully this win is the springboard for something truly special from the Saints.

And the Cowboy's second TD was a total fluke too. Ball should have been intercepted.

Are the 'boys getting hit by the Owens curse?
Quote:
Owens also said that the scrutiny he is under is one of the reasons he isn’t focused on the field and is one of the reasons he has dropped passes. “I’m not really into it. It’s like I’m almost kind of faking it. ... It was affecting my game,” Owens said.
Owens also said that he loves playing with the Cowboys, “despite Bill’s coaching style.”

Well I thought that Boys/Saints game would be a lot closer. But no, New Orleans came out and torched them with that passing game. But unless Chicago loses 2 of their 4 remaining games the NFC is going to go thru Chicago. If thats the case I'm guessing the Bears are hoping for some absolutely miserable weather that renders passing all but impossible.
It would sure be a story if the Chargers and Saints met up in the Super Bowl though. You'd have the MVP of each league facing off against each other, and than the Brees being a former Charger dynamic.

If my Eagles can find a way to pull out a win in the Meadowlands next weekend, then the Monday night game on Christmas will be for the division (provided Philly can beat Atlanta the following week). Who would've though we'd still have a chance after McNabb went down?

Also Reggie Bush is from San Diego, hence the "619" he wore under his eyes in college(San Diego area code). Him and LT train together in the offseason in SD. I cant tell you how happy I am that LT and Reggie hang out together in the offseason. Maybe Tomlinson can teach him how to pass. Bush's NFL passing stats are 0 for 1 with a pick...

Holy crap Alex Smith is brutal! I know it's only his second year but how hard is it to hit a guy in the numbers when he's 5 yards in front of you? Pass after pass has been in the dirt.

Guess it's a good thing I missed the first half because Smith has been solid from what I have seen. 2 TD passes and some nice scrambling.
Edit:Add a TD on a naked bootleg. Woohoo!

There goes the Seahawks season.
They probably will win the NFC West, however, the 3rd seed in the NFC means only one home game..and having to play that extra game. They MAY win the wildcard game..50/50.
If anything, getting embarrased by SF by not being able to score (13 first downs to 1 in the first half they lea), is a good thing. Too many easy excuses in the loss to AZ when the real culprit was some horrible play calling and execution by Hassleback there.
Tonight, bad interceptions, not scoring in the first when moving the ball down the field. Pathetic performance at home...one of the worst in recent memory, actually.

If SF hadn't blown that game against the Rams and last week against the Packers they could have won the NFC West this year. Crazy crazy NFL.

Yeah, not sure what happened there. I was flipping out in the first half because I took the Niners on my Sports Select.
