Apparently Danielle Smith hopped on a flight to Saudi Arabia last minute to avoid being around when this comes to fruition.
If true, it really shows how little she values the citizens of Alberta, the students, the teachers, and education. To not stand behind that you're pushinig through the legislature and be present for the entire process, speaks volumes.
So they'll force a pay contract on teachers, and have zero plans to address the lack of schools, teachers and support for fixing the disaster they are currently overseeing? How, precisely, do citizens expect their children to be educated? Oh, right, pay for private.
And no, nothing the government has announced is enough to keep up with population growth or even begin to put a dent in class sizes.
I still can't believe people voted for Smith and expected anything other than this. And I don't believe people actually want this as an education system.

I agree. But the minute the NDP talks about some Alberta politics "boogey man" such as raising corporate taxes, PST implementation, or whatever else, they'll get back in the UCP line and happily vote for them again.
A government is only as good as the people who elected them. Any UCP supporters ready to defend this or are you still on about some boogeyman woke ####?
#### you and your cult.
