From the producers who brought you 'Saving Sakic'

It's 'Gotta Get Ginla'

And coming spring 2024 'Gotta Get Ginla 2: Jarmoe Tij a Son Hat Tricks'

And in 2026
'Gotta Get Ginla 3: Joe Ginla Got His Groove Back'

Why this year? They need multiple first round picks but if it's easier to get them in 2025 and 2026 there's nothing wrong with that.

Too many here are over thinking this.

When the Flames pick, it will be the highest rated guy on their board who they take.

If that's Iginla, then great. If he is already gone, then they will take who ever else is highest left.

Well then we can all be glad your desk isn't Conroy's.

I will be completely shocked if Tij is still around at 9.

But I can dream.

What's the point of spending all this taxpayer money on the new arena if Edwards can't rig a lottery for us.

To me Chicago is just statistically more likely so probably not rigged if they win, even though everyone would hate it. I don't think anyone particularly wants Chicago to win outside of that market

Sure, no problem with that either, but frankly I'd rather they made multiple firsts every year going forward.

I'd rather that than Anaheim.

Iginla was money in the gold medal game today.

He’s gonna be so good.

I’d move up a spot or two if getting him’s in doubt.

Iginla looked pretty good at center this tourney.

I'm prepared to have my heart broken when they pick him at #8.

That is exactly what the Flames should not do. If someone drafts him before us there are plenty more great prospects that fit needs we have.

Iginla will be gone by 9th I bet.

Good thing we won those meaningless games at the end of the season. The difference between 6th and 9th doesn't really matter right?

What did you want them to do, play 6-on-5 for 60 minutes?

They traded everyone they could and started Wolf 11 games in the final two months.

They’re not very good, and they’re gonna get worse.

It’s fine.

Tij is gone in the top 5. He's too big of a name, and blowing up at the best possible time. There is no way one of 3-5 doesn't pounce all over him and his ridiculously good-looking, NHL-ready shot and goal-scoring instincts.
