I believe it's a 2-3 series where CV will have the choice of starting at home and sacrificing home ice in Game 5 or starting in Calgary.

AFAIK, the Heat/Wranglers are the only AHL team who has chosen to start at home and sacrifice home ice for Game 5. I suspect that means the first 2 games will be at the Dome next week sometime.

I was in the Coachella Valley last weekend for some music festival, and I noticed a lot of buzz for their team in local tv and print media, signs and banners around town, etc. They seem to be well-supported locally so the games there should be rocking.

I would not have said that at the beginning of the season. However, I think he has shown the most growth in his game of the Wranglers players. He is showing skill, and assertiveness I just was not noticing early on.

I'm still not sure what the future holds - cause I don't have the knowledge or skill set to project, but I've been very impressed with his development this year.

The thing scouts have liked from Stromgren dating back to before his draft year was how smart he is. The challenge, I think, for him was figuring out the ebbs and flows of the North American game.


Since around Christmas, he's been one of the Wranglers' most impressive and consistent players.
