I hate the current 3rd. I've never liked the Blasty logo, especially as the big logo on the front.

I really like this year's black pedestals. The only black Flames jersey I've liked. I'd be fine with them as the 3rd jerseys.

I may even be fine with the blasty jersey as long as the logo was a red Flaming C.

This, and use the original blasty jersey. Blasty actually works great as a shoulder patch. Red flaming C with simple yellow outline has a great contrast on black - IMHO this should be our 3rd jersey:

Way to step on everyone's collective kitten!

A logo for a hockey team that has been around for 43 years becomes pretty iconic to a fan base. Not sure Flames fans are odd about preserving history.

I'd accept Blasty as a shoulder patch. Not the main logo.

I'm sure there are people who love Blasty, but that doesn't make him in the minority just because he doesn't like it.

It's not just a letter at the end of the day, it's flaming C == Calgary Flames. Can I say you're in the minority saying it's nothing special? In all honesty, a horse head breathing fire out of it's nose doesn't not represent Calgary Flames.

When the Blasty RR became available the Flames literally couldn’t keep up with demand. It’s why they brought it back as an alternate so soon. It sells like crazy.

Blasty is definitely popular with Flames fans as a whole

I'm not a huge fan of the reverse retro but it's better than the horse.

Why they insist on wearing them so much when they have such a great primary set, I'll never know. Twice a season would be fine with me. Against non-rival teams.

Booooring.

Indigenous-themed jersey somewhat aligned with the Lunar New Year jersey..

I like Blasty but I actually agree. This is pretty much all anecdotal evidence, so take it however you want. I feel it's seen a large resurgence amongst young fans on social media, but I don't think the fans as a whole are so extremely pro-Blasty. The consensus I've gathered from talking to fans is pretty split, with younger fans more likely to be pro-Blasty while older fans are anti-Blasty.

Also, I am old enough to remember when the jersey came out. Lots of people hated the jersey and that hate lasted for a while. I'd say most fans hated the jersey at the time it came out.

It was a desperate marketing ploy by Ron Bremner all around. Black for the sake of black, and, a wildly radical logo to be used as a primary. Further proof of the shotgun style marketing of that era was the fact the Flames eventually ditched the pedestals after being tackily well out of style, and for 2 seasons had no red jersey.

I bought a Flames original authentic in 1994 when on clearance after the pedestal came out, and didn't buy another Flames jersey until the 2003 preorder.

That actually looks better than I thought it would. But it takes away the best part of the new RR: the slick new yellow outline logo. I'd like to see that on the Blasty jersey, especially the original.
