I just thought of something – how is unvaxxed Archibald playing in LA? He would have to fly from Edmonton to Vancouver before getting on the bus to Seattle. You need to be vaccinated for any flights in Canada. So how is he getting to Vancouver?
I’m assuming a charter from EDM to VAN. Which is illegal. A reporter ought to ask some questions.

Except I’m pretty sure it’s Kris Russell, who I believe still makes about $4.5 mln

Exactly. And he's overpaid at the price. Being a healthy scratch on that D is pretty damning.

Quick looks awful in the bits of this series I've watched. Smith looks like Smith during a good stretch. Doesn't look like he knows what he's doing but making saves.

It is going to be astounding how much McDavid and Draisaitl are going to play tonight. They will be on the same line, will play the full two minutes of every power play and will wind up with 28-29 minutes of ice team each. Might just work and earn them the win but if they make it round 2 there will be nothing left of them.
