There was no initial call so that should not apply. It wasnt until he whined to the official they looked.

They did say the call on the ice stands when they announced the penalty. I didn’t see any initial call being made though.

Reviewing high sticking calls has been a thing for several years. Since that Sharks/Knights playoff series I think. At least 2 or 3 seasons.
