Haha, yeah popularity has its pros and cons. I'd imagine Montreal will be even more fun than usual. I love that city.
Where are your seats again?? I've sat just down from Champions corner. Would love the hairpin one year.
I’m in grandstand 11 section 5. Can just barely see the start finish with perfect view of pit exit and 1st/2nd corners. I’ll post a pic tomorrow after FP1.
The new suites at champions corner where the old broadcast tower used to be look amazing. I’m determined to sit there one year, no matter the cost.
I really wish I’d have walked the lineup to get in today and taken a time lapse video. It would have been amazing.
Caught a pic of Seb today walking by and some other stuff. I stopped at every garage but didn’t bother with taking photos.
Spoiler!
Safety car
Seb!
Zhou Guanyu
Ferrari
Red Bull

Never been and not sure I'll ever make it but I am sure glad Canada is still on the circuit. Have a good time, I'm sure Montreal is a blast this time of year.
Well, the good news is I won’t see another Hamilton cake walk (he’s won all 3 races I’ve attended). The bad news is it’s probably gonna be a Max cake walk.
We'll have to see exactly how it plays out, but that article offers some hope that the FIA isn't simply bending to Merc's lobbying with an unnecessary step like raising the min. ride height, and may in fact just force Merc and any other severe oscillators to compromise their setups to avoid the bad outcome. Which will be kinda delicious if it plays out that way.
Presumably some degree of porpoising will be allowed on Fridays and teams will just have to tune it out?
Seb should maybe look at what his own country is doing, burning the dirtiest brown coal you can find, before ####ting in our direction. But that's usually the way these things go.

You'd like to think some of these athletes, celebrities and icons etc are highly intelligent people, but then a guy like Vettel adds himself to the list by ging and doing something like this. Funny he's not wearing an anti discrimination shirt in some of these countries that fund his lavish lifestyle.
Regardless of whether you think it's right or wrong to mine the tar sands, you are a complete wanker for not recognizing/acknowledging that your entire living is made off of shady foreign oil profits, burning fossil fuels and unnecessary waste of oil produced products and transport of equipment, crews.

Looks dry today. I wonder if they would have been better to pick a midway point between the 13" and 18", maybe a 16" tire would have been better. They would then not be so heavy, and would have more suspension built in.
The Ferrari is bouncing around like crazy too. Not just a Merc issue.
