Philly is hitting all their shots and playing good defense, they deserve to be up. But the problem is that if the refs basically just give them everything in the universe in the first quarter, the Raps instead of being up 8 are tied, and when Philly gets hot, they're suddenly up 13 instead of 5. This is how you rig a game from the front end.

This is men against boys. The only question here is if Toronto can win a single game in the entire series.

Nurse is being ####olded here. He’s just watching his guys get f’d from every angle. He has to break up the momentum by calling timeouts.

And Harden runs into Flynn and Flynn gets the foul? Wth. Sometimes I wonder why I watch this stupid fixed league.

FVV just played the whole half, and his legs were dead on his jumpers by the end. The lack of depth along with the injuries is tough to overcome.

What happened? Did somebody’s face smash him in the elbow again?

Just seemed to land slightly awkwardly on the last rebound under his basket. If I were to guess it's nothing but with big guys you never know. I hope he's injured so we can watch him shed crocodile tears for another year.

Would like to see Precious become more of a factor offensively in the second half. He's had some success and we aren't winning relying on Pascal/Fred to do all the scoring, nothing to lose.

Well getting blown out twice isn’t a great way to start the playoffs.

What are you going to do, this is probably the best the Sixers have played offensively all year. Harris has been ass for months, all of a sudden can create his own shot and score again. Danny Green has been ass for months, all of a sudden can hit threes again. It doesn't help that the normally ridiculously spaced out NBA schedule has this series at game three by Wednesday with a standard one on, one off schedule. Would be nice to be getting a Saturday-Tuesday-Friday schedule.

Part of that is defense, but part of it is getting frustrated when good defense in the first couple of quarters doesn't work and they knock down their shots in spite of it and you get discouraged.

Very happy the Mavs won though, without Luka. Brunson breaks the 40 point barrier in his absence. If Luka comes back by game 4, they still have a decent chance to take the thing.

Joel Embiid called out Nick Nurse following Game 2; stop bitching about calls.

You gotta give it to the Pelicans. People expected a sweep and they’re fighting back

Well the energy certainly seems to have been sucked out of this thread (for good reason) after the first two games. Any thoughts on tonight?

I'll be forever hopeful with this team but they have looked tired and unwilling (unable?) to play the style they need to give themselves a chance. Obviously the fouls play a big part but they haven't been nearly good enough regardless in almost every single aspect that has brought them success this year.

Win or lose I hope to seem them finally stand up to Embiid and make his life a little more difficult. Knock him to the floor, foul him hard, make him play through pain and discomfort. Steal game 3 somehow, someway and take advantage of the extra day of rest to try and make this a series again.

Go Raps!

The first two games were brutal, but this team has built up plenty enough good will in my books to not give up on them. I’m excited for the game tonight and to see what boost the crowd can provide.
