Whatever.
You’re just mad because Richmond beat Wimbledon. Pretend team indeed!

They did mention the Champions League!
Great finale. Lots of laughs, fun references, and quality conclusions for the characters. Best part was Ted picking up the offside. Also enjoyed the opening misdirection and laughed way too hard at the giant avocado.

Yeah, I liked that scene.
"Theres the Premier League, The Champion's League and then The Championship? That dont make no sense!"

I think they won 3-2. There was a goal call back. One of the best parts of the show was Ted being all chill and like... no worries, that was offside.

I dont know if it was the best part, but I liked that scene.
He just wasnt at all concerned..."14 was offside."

Was excited to see Ted’s red shoes to conclude all the Wizard of Oz references.
Such a satisfying, fantastic conclusion but I’m heartbroken at the same time.

Satisfying conclusion except for one part.
I might have to re-watch the whole thing right away here. So many little things in each episode and Easter eggs throughout the whole series.
I'm sad though. Think it was my favourite show of all time.

So happy with how it ended. Loved the callback in the last goal of the game. And absolutely loved finishing it off with Cat Stevens.

As someone who thinks Ted Lasso is just good, not great I’ve got to say they did a fantastic job with the finale. Great ending

I'm not sure I've laughed at this show as hard as I did when Beard waltzed into Rebecca's kitchen in a racing red thong. Absolutely brilliant piece of misdirection, and good god that was a lot of pale middle aged manass

This won't be a popular opinion, but I don't think the finale landed.
It had some good spots, but it really felt forced to me.

It wasn't really going to go any other way though. It did feel like going through the motions, but only because it had been setup so well through everything we have seen.
It's like that last part of the roller coaster, you know it's not going to be as exciting as the loops and drops, but you'll have a smile on your face none-the-less as you reflect on the ride and coast to the end.

I've always said Cheers is my all-time favourite show, bar none. But Ted Lasso has made up a lot of ground, so it goes without saying I loved the nod to Cheers at the end with Mae straightening the picture of Geronimo as Sam did in the final scene of Cheers, and the "thanks - cheers" comment that followed. Had a lump in my throat the size of that avocado.

I found the way he subtly leaned his bare ass on her island to be hilarious.
Absolutely adored the show, and they didn't venture off script for the finale which I love. Clean execution.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, I thought it missed the mark a bit. It is a show that has had some absolutely gem moments.
I didn't find any of those in the finale.
It was OK, but again for me it missed the mark.

Nice catch!
I suspected that there was something I missed about the Geronimo picture in the Crown & Anchor
