Draisital just gave the puck away and shrugged his shoulders, but that prompted Louis to fluff him for the next 25 seconds about how solid he is with the puck.

Which is probably driving the Oilers crazy. Their PP is their only saving grace.

Would really like to see the Flames get another goal even if they end up losing. I feel like they had too many one goal games and shutouts in the season.

Could be worse, he could be with Janko, who haven’t seen for a full period almost.

No one can feel bad for Derek Ryan. He is a poor mans matt stajan, and he does a great job of anchoring the fourth line.

However, I’ve never seen a guy disappear when #### gets physical quicker.

Flames are giving Hawks a bit of a blueprint for how to play the oilers top lines tonight.

Finish your checks on McDavid and Draisaitl, get the pucks in deep and behind them, and dont pinch or overcommit when they are on the ice.

They start to get frustrated when they aren’t allowed to get odd man rushes and space in the neutral zone.

yep started in the offensive zone and ended stuck in their own zone chasing. Not the end of the world, going to happen.

Lol, I can't believe they compared Koskinen to Hasek, and now Drasaitl to Forsberg. Filip Forsberg maybe.

Honestly, even if we lose this has been a positive for us.

Better every period we play. Got tight defensively and some how contained Mcdavid with all the extra gears he picked up in the Covid offseason.

The difference is that Bennett needs his teammates with him to work as a line, and Johnny can just do the Johnny show, if his linemates are a no-show.

If anything I'd say he's a rich man's Stajan, tbh

It's honestly amazing that the Oilers continue to anchor McDavid with Kassian.

I think the only explanation is McDavid is genuinely afraid of getting abused so he wants a goon to protect him.
