Looks like Stamps will be hosting the Western Final. It is August 10th.

If our defense has really figured things out, then I wouldn't bet against Winnipeg to make a great run against Calgary.

Stamps offence is still figuring things out...Imagine when they do...meanwhile...
Rider Fans - If their offence doesn't turnover the ball and puts up points, they'll beat Calgary.
Bombers Fans - If their defence has it figured out, don't get against them.
Eskimos Fans - If they split the Labour day b2b, they can hang with Stamps.
I hope these fan bases realize the Stamps will get their top receiver back in time with Rogers, top RBs back in Jackson/Williams so the offence will only improve.

Hey man, the Riders have a great defense, I mean they allowed 26 points against the Eskies, 27 points against the Stamps, They did well against the Cats with 20 and 13 points, but they allowed the Als to score 23, and 40 to Ottawa. That's a average defense overall, but good against Hamilton.
Winnipeg is probably the biggest threat right now because frankly Edmonton's defense is awful.
The Stamps are going to blow the Riders out in the next game, I mean nobody is scared of the Riders offense, but their defense allowed the stamps offense to put three TD's in the end zone through the air and then went for a sandwich.

If the stamps can lose two grey cups in a row against 500 teams I wouldn't look past Winnipeg.

I think we can, If the Bombers can lose back to back years in the western semi finals.
Fun fact, when was the last time the blue bombers have won a playoff game?

I think the Bombers should concentrate on Edmonton and holding down 2nd spot. The Ti-Cats would have easily won that game last night had they not shot themselves in the foot continuously. The Stampeders are the one team in the league that doesn't do that so it's going to take a much, much better effort than last night to just hang with the Stamps when they meet.

I think the stamps are motivated by the realistic goal of going through 2018 undefeated, including the grey cup. I really do question whether they will lose even 1 game, barring injuries to Mitchell.
Consecutive chokes in the grey cup has sharpened the drive and hunger to win. How else do you explain the ridiculous defensive work so far!

Manziel is like the CFL's Connor McDavid - at least in the area of being overexposed to the point of nausea. TSN needs to dial it back about 10 points.

Hey guys, I need a rule clarification - On the REDBLACKS last punt, the Montreal punt returner bobbled the ball at the five yard line (never really has possession, but he touched the ball). The ball goes into the end zone and the Als returner picks it up and proceeds to run the ball out and gets tackled at the four yard line. My question is this: If he takes a knee in the end zone, is that a rouge or a safety?

If he plays the ball outside of the end zone and it goes into the end zone and he kneels, its a safety.
And a coaches boot up the pooper.

Confirmed on CFL.ca
I wonder if his mouth and attitude doomed him.
He's clearly not a salary cap casualty.

Honestly if I'm Montreal, I really look at bringing Carter back in on a last chance contract. They desparately need receivers.
BTW congrats to Manziel for his first drive for a TD, though I swear to god he was knocked out on that run.

Thanks Cap'n, CC and Forde were going on that he should have just let the ball bounce into the end zone and then down it for a rouge, but since he played it at the 5 yard line, he didn't want to give up the safety.
/As it turned out, Montreal was 2 and out and the punter gave up a safety anyways.
