OK, fair enough, but the linked comment is basically out of context at this point.

I have commented before that I would hope that the federal government would spend some political capital and force the provinces to capitulate to get a pipeline done. Looking at the latest information though, that's not prudent and I recognize that now (which is unfortunate because personally some of that seems ridiculous).

I'm no fan of May, but I can't help but respect if she follows through and steps down after her party went crazier than usual:
