And 865-769-157-109 in their last 1900.
Edit: I should add that this isn't taking playoff games into account, because that would be ridiculous.

If every team keeps pace that number is wrong.

Pace of what? Over the whole season? Last 25 games? Last 10 games? Last 5 games?
That's the point. Over a season all teams have hot and cold streaks. At the end of the year, you need about 96 points to make the post season. So don't worry about everyone else, just focus on getting to that number and you should be fine. Stressing about the OOT scoreboard will not help you get to 96 points.

96 with the tiebreaker on most gets the Flames IN
people worry too much. Don't forget these teams all play each other, everybody can't run the table

Intuition tells me 94 should be enough, but 96 is certain.
I could very well be wrong with all the fancy stats and calculations, but I also am pretty confident that watching hockey for many years allows me to predict things like this without calculations.

Unless the 9th place team has 96 points. At which point we worry.
All you need pay attention to is how the last playoff team is doing. If you stay above them, it's fool proof. That's my strategy and I'm sticking to it.

they wont, teams play each other all the teams in the race aren't gonna get that high
trust me, not saying the Flames will do it but if they get 96 they are IN
most teams would need 97 to beat them

No they're not. 11-7-1 in their last 19. 1-0-0 since losing their captain.

Clearly he was dragging down Monahan's first periods. Couldn't score in the first period until Sven was gone

It's because of the last recall bias. In the last 2 1/2 weeks the flames have only won 2 games and lost 4. They simply

ROW's go,
VAN - 32
CGY - 31
MIN - 31
SJS - 30
LAK - 29
WPG - 26
Other than the Jets, that ROW battle is too close to really say anyone has a major tie-breaker advantage. Could completely re-arrange itself in a week. Particularly as we go along and teams are more conservative about making sure they manage their losses and get close games at least to OT.

Well, they lost 2-1 to the Islanders, w/o Giordano; so 1-1-0.
I'll see myself out.

What's interesting is just how Winnipeg is losing so much ground despite grabbing a respectable 14 of 22 points in their last 11 games. They have to hate the OOT scoreboard more than anyone.
Unlike the Canucks, Flames, Kings and Sharks who are capable of fighting for 4 playoff spots (with obvious varying likelihood of grabbing them) Winnipeg only can challenge for the 2 wildcard spots at this point. And with Minnesota overtaking them now, their playoff hopes have gone from pretty high to closer to 50/50 here quickly.
There schedule isn't at all easy either.
Predators, Blues, Panthers, Lightning, Sharks, Blues, Capitals, Oilers, Canucks, Canadiens, Blackhawks, Rangers, Canucks, Wild, Blues, Avalanche, Flames.
Only 4 teams currently not in a playoff position today, two of which are still fighting for their playoff hopes.

Don't look now, but the Wild are only four points back of Chicago.
