Back in the day as a die hard Flames fan when playoffs were pretty much a sure thing and the regular season an 82 game tune up, I did not pay much attention to prospects or draft picks. Even the names of the very best of the junior players (aside from those that were front page news such as Sidney Crosby) were foreign to me.
Fast forward several years and I must say it's pretty exciting to learn about and watch kids develop who, hopefully will become household names (and future stars) in this wonderful city of ours, and the cornerstone of the team we all love.
no one can blame you, they weren't worth paying attention to
I loved the comment Melrose made when Matty took a shot, "He's the little Gaudreau, Johnny got all the size."
Hahah.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
wait....wrong Sandler movie.
Ok, a simple "wrong" would have done just fine.

Wearing my "Gaudreaubey Baker" tshirt today. First want to see him pick up the award he deserved to win last year, and deserves to win by unanimous vote this year, then want to hear that he has signed the contract and is on his way to Calgary (or Vancouver).
Although, all things considered, I'd be most happy if he signed with Calgary effective July 1st and signed an ATO with Abby for the playoffs, I will be happy with his name on a contract either way.
And yes, Bill too. Want him signed right alongside JH.
Lots of rumblings that Boston College star Johnny Gaudreau is close to signing with Flames. MIGHT even play in Sunday's game in Vancouver.
