And that's that, another win. Good start by Happ, 3 more homers, seems like they just can't lose right now. So fun to watch.

I can't believe they walked in and swept Detroit.

It's getting harder and harder to be pessimistic with this bunch.
5 guys already with 10+ homers and another guy with 9. It's June 5th....

There's making a statement, then there is sweeping the other two division leading teams within two weeks.

Oakland loses to the Yankees.
Jays: 37-24
A's: 37-23
Slowly creeping up as having the best record in the AL.

What is going on?
I have tried really hard to hold back my excitement. Every year I end up being badly embarrassed as soon as I show a smidge of optimism...but sweeping the two best teams in the AL has done it for me. (Or should I say 2nd and 3rd best teams?).
Honestly though I know the wheels will fall off a bit. But if its only for a game or two at a time and they can bounce back....that's what they've been missing for the past two decades. What is the X-factor this year? health? hitting coach? Just the stars aligning maybe...its incredible to watch.

Personally, I think it's our batting that has gotten tremendously better. We used to rely on Jose Bautista and Lind, but now our batting lineup is so stacked, we don't rely on one or two guys anymore.

Don't discount our D. Leaps and bounds above where we were last year.
Remember having Bonafacio at 2nd B?!!
I think Morrow went 3/4 of the season without getting one double play completed behind him.
