OK, so here's how this is gonna work. San Jose owes the Islanders a 2nd and a 3rd in 2020 as part of today's Bryan Little trade. I am going to immediately send those picks to Edmonton once I have received them. In similar fashion, St. Louis owes the Islanders a 3rd in 2020 as part of a previous trade. When I receive that pick, it will be immediately transferred to the Oilers.
This does not impact any conditions where I am to send out any draft picks. It does not add to the number of draft picks that I owe -- it simply automatically reallocates picks that I will have in the future.
Updated condition list:
2019
- Owe Vancouver a 1st
- Owe Vancouver the next 3rd that enters my possession
2019 OR 2020
- Owe Florida a 1st
- Owed a 3rd by Florida

- Owe St. Louis a 1st

This was mostly a cost-cutting move. Spezza was being paid too much for being a 3rd/4th liner.
