Whats the longest injury any of you guys have had in Be A Pro.
I swear I reached out to high 5 a guy after a goal, then on my next shift I left the ice clutching my shoulder and bamn I'm out for 3 to 4 weeks with a sprained shoulder.

The only injuries I've been involved with was putting out Hank Sedin for 2 weeks on this Double Dion;

That play would have been more awesome if you'd stayed onside.

Here's a huge f'n gripe (after going so long with no big gripes about the game)...
Played my first game of my second season on Be a GM, finished the game with 2 players getting injured. So the game automatically calls up players to replace these guys in the lineup, but in doing so, also sends down a couple rookies I had playing up in the first game... in total it moved 6 players around by itself, and re-did all of the lines.
While that was annoying, the kicker was that it decided to call up Irving, and send Karlsson down. But Karlsson's on a 1-way contract, so he had to go through waivers, and he got picked up. AND, Irving's on a 1-way as well... so I can't even trade for someone else and move Irving back down without him going through waivers. I was going to have him play another year in Abb before bringing him up, hoping the playtime would lead to his stats improving more... but now that's out the window.
My old save is also before a lot of moves in the offseason.
So out of this, my assistant coach is now not allowed to do anything (fired)... Not sure if because I had it on "minimal line changes" if that's why I didn't get to chose who to call up. And I'm now saving way more often.
Sigh.
On the plus side, I traded for Skinner, Neideritter, Johansen, Sheifele, Letang over the summer :P

I did stay onside.
It looks like I didn't, but I dragged the toe baby, and we got a good chance.

Mostly draft picks, I don't have one of the Flames 1st's for the next 4 years (though I did pick up 2 from other teams). I don't remember the specific trades... but notable current real-life Flames no longer on my roster:
- Stajan
- Hagman
- Kostopolous
- Sarich
- Hannan
- Morisson
- Stempniak
- PL3
- Babchuk
- Butler
- Mikkelson
Current lineup:
Tanguay - Stamkos - Iginla
Bartschi - Backlund - Skinner (love this line)
Neiderriter - Jokinen - Bourque
Glencross - Moss - Jackman
Bouwmeester - Letang
Brodie - Giordano
Smith - Carson
Kipper
Irving
Currently Backlund & Bourque (ConnSmythe winner last season) are both out for a month or so... I brought up Byron & Bouma to fill in.

His stats in-game are pretty mediocre, along with a B- potential rating.
That said, if they manage to get lots of icetime & points, they get more experience and get stats a little faster... though simming likely won't have that happen, you need to force it.

I've been trying to subtly destroy the Oilers, I'm leading the league in goals and assists for defensemen, I'm dead last in plus minus for defensemen and I lead the league in give aways.
I've even run over Khabby a couple of times scrambling to get into position for unscreened shots from the point. It also works to stand to one side of the shot when it comes screaming in at you and either hit pockcheck or baseball bat swing which causes the puck to tip by your goalie.
I proudly helped Alex Tanguay get a hat trick when I passed the puck into our empty net by mistake.
I'm so outtta there in another year.

I think you can adjust that with options. I know most of the time when I get into injury trouble, my 13th/14th forward or 7th D gets put in place (I always call up another to take over the 13/14/7 spot so nothing can go horribly wrong) and then I take all the time I want with GM Roster Movement.
Though the new update packs seem to screw things up in BAP...things are still way too easy. I'm still getting 10-15 shots on net on a nightly basis (granted, I take the Jackman approach of cranking shots on net if I can't make a pass) and it's rare that I don't end up with near perfect coaching opinion as I often land a goal with this process, stay in position, and block shots more than Giordano. Granted, I'm still with the Hitmen in my first season...but still...

Same story for me with the Hitmen, it's fun putting up points but having 69 goals and 81 assists in 59 games is a bit much. The upside is that virtual me is killing it with the puck bunnies.

Last night I killed Dennis Wideman in the Stanley Cup Finals - out for 4 months.
Yes, the score was 8-0 in the 2nd period at that point, and yes I had already hurt Ovechkin by ripping a shot off the inside of his ankle and should been focusing on finishing the game out...but I play hard whistle-to-whistle. If you think you're going to get a free pass skating to the half wall on the right side before softly dumping it in, you've got hurt coming your way.

Also, in the conference final:

After that I had no problem getting Sturm to drop the gloves with me. Big Mistake. Post concussion syndrome is a real headache.
