They may regret it. I'd rather face the crappy Sox than the Rays.

I know. These games had so many twists and turns. Longoria definitely is the hero with 2 hr -1 rally run and the other winning hr. Crazy. The Rays should send a Thank you card to the O's. Job well done.

The trop is the worst baseball stadium out there... and it's not even close, yes I am considering Oakland. Throw in about 35,000 of the most fairweather fans in the sports world and a manager who looks like a troll doll in coke bottle glasses throwing tantrums every couple innings - I can't even watch.

Should be interesting headlines in both the Boston and Atlanta papers tomorrow.

Haven't seen effort in LF like that since I coached son's Tball team. And Crawford wasn't counting dandelions. Uh, then again....

Why would Atlanta fans be in Tampa for the playoffs?

Boston became the first team to miss the post-season after leading by as many as nine games for a playoff spot entering September, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.

Second best night in sports in a long time (just behind the Canucks game 7 loss).
Great night in not only baseball, but sports as well.

Certainly not like these games where all the wc teams in both leagues are tied. Three of those teams went into extra inning and ending them all in dramatic heart stopping fashion-one team seemed out of it by 7 runs in the 7th and wins with HR, the other team who was leading into the 9th loses...
All those 161 games came down to just 1 game-do or die. The two teams that lost in the wc game were leading by at least 8-9 runs in early sept and blew it.

I love Boston fans blaming the Yankees - NY put up 6 runs against David Price and then put the scrubs in. Girardi said on Monday that no playoff pitchers were going to pitch Wednesday, yet Cory Wade was in and one strike away from ending it. The Yankees had a hit and run in the 12th to put runners on the corner only to have Goloson screw it up.
The last 3 hits by the Orioles were by sub .240 hitters - Sox have nobody to blame but themselves.
Scott Proctor is the same scrub that gave the Sox an extra inning victory last week

They pitched Chamberlain, Robertson and Rivera last night to get their arms ready for Friday night. They were unavailable tonight.

I'm pretty sure baseball scripted this out like a WWF match.
-It's everyday a team comes back down 7-0 in the 8th inning.
-Yankees don't use any of their regular closers
-they make it rain in Baltimore so both games can end around the same time
-Crawford the ex-ray drops an easy fly ball out
I call fake.
