And whoever this Mr. Van der Merwe was...he's got to have a lineage to rival Genghis Khan.

I think the series does a good job of showing the sport as what it is, a physical sport with a distinct edge.

Thats the beauty of Rugby. Controlled violence.

You have to play, but you have to play on that edge and not go over it.

I've been going out to the winter sessions for my club with my son.

Good God I have missed it.

6 Nations kicks off on Friday

France v Ireland

I'd love to see the Frenches roll them up.

No we were lame this year, but a lot of my cousins rugby group did, we were right behind the gnomes. Next year we will think of something.

Hopefully the Canadian men's team can get their crap together and not get relegated.

We all made the same drunken commitment to dress up next year.

Even if relegated they might get an exemption like HK to play in their own tournament

Holy Christ on a Cracker.

Well done Italy, but for some #### officiating in the France game you would have 2 wins.

Beating Scotland is no joke.

Pommies, played well, Irish did not.

Pommies won

Can't believe that Ireland lost to England. Well, I can...it's not surprising, but it's still disappointing.

I think the Scotland v Italy was the game of the weekend.

I feel for the Italians.

They have played some of the best rugby this 6N

Well it solidifies the wooden spoon for Wales, basically. I mean Italy hadn't won at home in 16 (?) years, so this campaign is pretty impressive for them.

My son reckons that in his lifetime Italy win the 6Nations.

He might be correct, their U20's have been playing very good rugby

I think it helps that they moved on from Kieran Crowley. They’re playing much more open now and if they can play some defence they’ll be much more competitive.

How bad it Crowley come across in the Netflix Doc?

I have a buddy that coached with Crowley "He's nothing but an angry drunk".

Yikes. Wouldn't want to line up against any of them.

That is a massive achievement by the Canadian women 7s in taking out the Aussies.

Was watching the Aussies in the group stage as they just steamrolled through UK, Ire and SA with the two Levi sisters absolutely dominating.

I was expecting it to be a comfortable 20+ win for them.

Final at 1345 ET
