Have him do bitter interviews with Dirt Sheets, post musings on X, etc.

Then have him come back and win a rumble, or come out of the crowd and kick the crap out of breaker.
They clearly have a relationship with TNA at this point...they were open to letting Danielson do New Japan IIRC but he still wanted AEW...I think it's possible.

Pretty much the entire executive team from TNA was at that NXT show as guests of the WWE, including Gail King, so clearly all is forgiven with her.

I'm loving WWE's new openness to acknowledge, and work with, other organizations - which is a stark contrast to the Vince days. Recently they've actively acknowledged TNA and NJPW on TV, and recently in talent partnerships too (Jordynne Grace/NXT and Charlie Dempsey/AJPW). I could see more of these partnerships / talent exchanges in the future, and it's exciting.

Tried watching RAW to give it a second chance, still can't do it. I think one thing that really is off-putting is Pat McAfee. I've mentioned this before but listening to him for extended periods of time gives me a migraine. Can't they find someone better?

I miss Ethan Page, but Pillman and Spears brought absolutely nothing to AEW. NXT is probably their ceiling, and that's totally fine.

100% disagree, love what McAfee brings, you can tell he is passionate about it. Dude is good at everything he does. His coupe of matches were great for someone with little training, turns out he is great at soccer as well.

Yeah I love Pat as well. Turns out he's a great ring announcer as well! Sure he's not your typical colour commentator, but I love the passion he has for the business. He may not be professional (or trained), yet you can tell how much he enjoys the business. WWE bringing over the ESPN/MMA atmosphere the past few months has been a huge plus. They've really stepped up their presentation since the merger. Kudos to HHH, Nick Khan, and whoever else has been willing to adapt to these changes. The company is in better shape today than they have for almost 25 years.

Absolutely, all three are lower/mid carders. Page could hold a midcard title one day, but I don't see him in the main event. Pillman could end up on Raw/Smackdow, but will never be a major player. The one guy in AEW who would main event in WWE is MJF. I wonder how long that new deal is for? He must be the highest paid guy on that roster.

Spears and Page were both Cody guys if I'm not mistaken?

Disagree. To each their own. He sounds like a choking cat when calling RAW.

As opposed to AEW announcers where they fight and squabble. I feel bad for Taz having to work with over-the-hill Schiavone while Tony Khan is in Schiavone's ear the entire time.

Love Taz, love Excalibur, love Matt Menard, love Nigel McGuiness, and I have a soft spot for Tony. I find them all quite enjoyable.

I love you throwing me a Jim Cornette video, just perfect lol

AEW fans love AEW things. That's cool. I think we all understand that by now.

I like Pat because he gives a ####. It seems like he is invested in the result.

I like Taz because he doesn't give a ####, he will just say whatever

WWE commentating used to used to be way worse because it was all focused on the angle and never the action.

AEW commentating needs to be better at working an angle because I have no idea what end the match is meant to achieve other than showcase athleticism or lack there of.

Agreed, AEW often has the better product in the ring (especially on PPV's). WWE has better booking and more story driven programs. They both bring something to the table. I enjoy both, and watch Dynamite every Wednesday.

AEW has extreme highs and lows, in the same program you have a ***** Ospreay match and an unwatchable Jericho segment. WWE settles for having a good product from week to week. They have a formula they use, which doesn't allow for as much creative liberties and freedoms. They are improving on that, but it'll never get to the point where someone will be lit on fire or booking an exploding barb wire deathmatch.

Strickland v Ospreay is going to be a good match, but the build has negative heat.
