Oh man I cannot wait to see who Mooch calls tonight after that eight ball. We might all die from Trump but at least we'll die laughing.

The only bad thing about Mooch's departure is that he left before SNL could mock him.

So apparently Mooch told Kelly that he (Mooch) doesn't answer to Kelly, shortly later here we are. Probably had a huge #### eating grin when he said that.

hard to believe that 39 people voted on the poll and said Trump was doing a good job...
are any of those people still posting on this thread?

Troutman, the only problem is that I don't want to see any of the above individuals end up winning.

It should be noted that once again, a public expression of confidence from the Oval Office (as Scaramucci supposedly got after the New Yorker thing) is essentially a death sentence. "President Trump fully supports and stands behind Bob". Start packing, Bob.

I didn't vote, but I think its a little bit of a loaded question. You could answer that he has been successful because he hasn't caused more damage than you expected he would.

I think to many of those 39 people Trump could betray every element of his agenda, as long as he's "pissing liberals off" they'll consider him a success.

its pretty much a boiler plate question that comes up for every president after 100 days in office though... this question didn't come up just because of Trump.
EDIT: http://www.npr.org/2017/04/29/525810...evelt-achieved
There is a third option to the poll beside yes and no...
There are some folks that unquestionably thought he was doing a good job, so those are the ones I am curious about...

The amusing thing about Trump constantly bragging about the DJIA setting records is that, historically, the stock index has reached a record high something like once every seven days on average throughout its history. One of the big drivers of that is... inflation.
But it is impressively brilliant bullcrap to sell to his base, given how largely ignorant of finance it inevitably is.

I guess, but what constitutes success then and from what perspective? Actually carrying out what he said he would? Repealing the ACA and building a giant wall along the Mexican border? I would say it's a success that he has been prevented from doing any of the things he said he would do.

Donald Trump's first 100 days has been a success because it could have been worse?
I guess that Colorado Avalanche's 48 point season was a success, as it could have been 30 points instead?

i would imagine that people in the past would judge it on the basis implementing any of any legislative moves that they campaigned on...
As noted in the article, Clinton's first 100 days were seem primarily as a failure since he didn't accomplish much legislatively... EOs don't really count as highly because they don't require leadership per se; they are unilateral decisions.

I voted yes in that poll.
Based on the potential outcomes of a trump presidency him being a buffoon and doing very little in implementing his agenda when his party controls both houses is a big win.
We are existing in one of the better versions of the trump is president multiverse. So yes his presidency has been successful so far and would vote yes again.

by that reading, you are saying that if you were asked in a poll about whether you approve or disapprove of the job the president is doing, you would answer you approve, because he's doing such a terrible job and you hope it continues?
pretty sure most people read that polls the opposite way, hence why Trump's approval ratings is approaching historically low levels
