Not a chance they were going to overturn that. Especially against the Yankees. Not a single break has gone the Jays way tonight. This is infuriating.

Think it was safe but too close to overturn

Against another team, that might have been safe. Not against the Yankees though

Back when the blue jays had their mojo going you watched these games knowing they’d come back to win.

Lately it feels like once they get down they don’t catch back up.

Such an important game. Hope they find a way.

Poor decision by Bichette to run there when he's already in scoring position in a 1 run game.
He probably was safe.

On a positive note. Baltimore has expanded their lead to 4-2 in the bottom of 8...

Noice! What’s scary though is if they drop this game, they could win out and it still might not be enough.

To retain ownership of their fate they must win.

That's ball game. Another walk comes back to bite them in the ass.

They were nibbling all game and the Yankees just sat back and took what was given to them. Meanwhile the Jays are swinging at everything and it shows. The experience of the Yanks is taking over right now.

Goodbye season.

To be honest I thought it was done long before, so I'm not that disappointed. Just getting to this point was an accomplishment given how far out of it they were.

The only chance is to hope Boston keeps choking.

What a horrible time for the Jays bats to go painfully cold.

####. Forgot Cole is on the mound tomorrow. So really have to hope for Boston to choke.

And meanwhile the Mariners are now ahead of the Jays based on win %
