Ignoring the first one (because it's the best by far) what are your top 3 films in the Halloween franchise? I gotta go
Halloween 3
Halloween H20
Rob Zombies Halloween
H20 is such an interesting time capsule. It's Kevin Williamson in a franchise that is one of his major influences in the style of the slasher revival that he birthed with Scream.

I'm kind of down on the Halloween franchise as I've really, really disliked the last two movies. Halloween Kills was a total abomination of a film and I never thought there would be a day when I looked back on Season of the Witch fondly as one of the better Halloween films.

Season of the Witch is absolutely a Halloween movie, and I actually think to extend the life of the franchise they should revisit the idea of making one off movies around Halloween and ditch Michael Myers. How many times do we have to see him try kill Laurie Strode and her family. Give me original ideas instead. Carpenter even said it was time to move on.

I meant it wasn’t a “Halloween” movie as in it didn’t have anything to do with the previous movies, except for the title.
Since we were recently discussing Kurosawa films, here's a top 10 list (a thing that I loathe to be honest) that showcases some of his films in light detail.
Many have attributed the characters C-3PO and R2D2 to the film Hidden Fortress. Also, a couple of Shakespearean adaptations in here, and his own epic films at the top.

Saw I really fun/insane early 90s thriller Ricochet. It stars Denzel Washington as a cop who arrests a hitman played by John Lithgow. Then Washington's career takes off and he becomes very successful. Meanwhile Lithgow is plotting his revenge in jail and when he escapes jail boy does he do some crazy stuff to Washington. It was at the part when Lithgow and Jesse The Body Ventura had a sword fight in jail that I knew this movie wasn't taking it's self seriously and neither should I. This movie also has lots of great one liners that would put Arnie to shame. As I said it's a fun movie if you go along for the ride.

If you liked that then Virtuosity is really gonna twist your noodle
Time After Time with Malcolm McDowell and David Warner. Time travel adventure where Jack the Ripper goes to 1979 San Francisco and HG Wells goes after him. It's kinda dated, but worth a watch.
