Or you could look at it like the airline is saving you from a bad decision.

tbf that's quite last minute, if you look 2 weeks out they're only $300. Even less than that with Flair

That was one nice thing about Covid I guess, flying to vancouver for $80 round trip with westjet was nice

Google Flights shows $465 from YYC to YWG, if you’re a weird and want to fly in and out for a day (since WO403 didn’t specify a duration), or $320 if you are weirder still and want to stay there until Sunday.

Not sure where the “airlines in this country are going to ****” sentiment is coming from.

Before Shaw got fully into the cable ISP game (actually it was "Videon" back then in Winnipeg), dipped their feet into this whole "Internet on your TV" trial thing where you had what was effectively a desktop computer and TV-out adapter packaged with a wireless keyboard and remote.

When my parents weren't around, you bet your ass that my dumb little buddies and I looked for pr0n on that thing. Parental controls? Hah, I was the parental control, so if I didn't want them using it, I could lock it down far better than they could. Once Videon axed the TV Internet offering, we got 56k dial-up on our actual computer and the search for boobies raged on.

It is 100% a parental responsibility to talk to their kids after this sort of stuff. Parents have funny priorities though, my parents wouldn't let me rent Mortal Kombat II for my Sega Genesis after they saw me play it one time, but Die Hard and Die Hard 2 were mainstays at Christmas time... you know, including that scene where a guy gets an icicle jabbed INTO HIS F--KING EYESOCKET.

Wanted to watch Creed III tonight, Why does renting a streaming movie inexplicably cost $25? And you can just buy it to own for $30? Good grief. You’d think a rental would be in the $5-10 range, what are these companies smoking.

Just a theory, but…maybe the machines have flagged you after you tried to get all Joaquin Phoenix with the AI chatbot and trying to get it to engage in some erotic mustard fantasy.

I'm anticipating a Winnipeg trip at some point. I'd rather drive. At least I have transportation when I arrive.

The great thing about having a stone penis is never having to thumb in a softy.

This is so self explanatory that I'm surprised it even made it to a gear grinder

Cyclists.

This guy really pissed me off this morning.

Cycling straight through a traffic circle on the sidewalk/crosswalk.

I cant just hammer the brakes in a traffic circle or I'm going to get rear-ended.

If you're going through the crosswalk you are a pedestrian, which means get off your bike and walk it. You cant just zip in out of nowhere at bike speeds and expect everyone to stop for you...thats insane.

So all cyclists, sounds like just one guy? You're going to have to hate drivers if you use a traffic circle on a regular basis

Is it? Like I understand the $30 price to purchase and own it forever while it's still playing in theatres, but who would pay $25 to rent it instead of just the $30 to own it? What other thing out there is ever only 15% less to rent instead of own?

No matter which one I am, I always hate cyclists. Even when I'm a cyclist, I hate other cyclists.
