Damage control for giving WrestleMania to Vegas. And it's two years away.

Think some of that is an output of Philly for WM40 too - don't think they loved the colder weather having an impact on some of the festivies surrounding WM this year.

I have a feeling they will keep the colder / NE markets to SummerSlam type of events and maybe keep WM to the warmer southern markets when possible.

Unless it's an Indoor stadium, this makes sense.

It is an indoor stadium but I think even just for these types of events a big thing is you want a good experience around the event and you have people travelling internationally.

Going to cities when the weather is more favourable helps with that.

Tailgate parties, special events, etc are all better when the weather is warmer. Considering they had said they also discussed pushing Wrestlemania later into April or May due to that shows it's on their radar, and it's not just because the actual in-ring stuff.

Great show! I hope everyone caught those last two matches. Logan Paul was such a great find. He's a star.

"Man...if what I'm seeing is real....Poor Walter"

Any time that Gunther accomplishes anything in his career, that quote by Keith Lee gets more and more hilarious. Guy is an absolute star.

I actually thing the name Gunther actually suits his character better too, it's kind of funny how that worked out.

Yeah, I know it's his real name but Walter sounds too North Americanish to me. Gunther not only sounds more European but it means "battle warrior" so it fits.

I'm happy MJF is staying at AEW, they need him right now and he suits the product better.

Agreed, they really need him right now, hopefully they Dallas the whole Adam Cole stuff and write it off as a shower illusion.

I actually liked it better in the football stadium when there were no fans...seems awkward for actually full arenas.

Also didn't love the Darby hanging for what seemed like an eternity spot.

I'd give the PPV a 7.5 out of 10.

It was good but not great. Swerve probably should have won more convincingly, Anarchy in the Arena was sloppy (as expected though), Mone actually looked kind of weak in her match IMO, Mox/Take####a was disappointing. MJF returning and Ospreay's match were the highlights IMO.

The problem with having guys like Okada, Ospreay and Copeland all holding the mid-tier belts is it actually prevents those guys from having great matches / feuds with one another.

Copeland out with a fractured tibia and might need surgery.

I mean I watched that spot, and was like its stupid that a 50 year old was doing it. Second, what the hell was he thinking landing like that.

AEW just loves proving Cornette right. You have invested a ton of money and marketing into this guy. You have to have someone back stage talking to them about risk management for the benefit of the company.

Yeah, that looked bad. I heard people trying to defend it saying it was deliberate and that people who do gymnastics are taught to land that way to lessen the impact on their knees.

Edge's run has been fantastic. He probably called that spot. Didn't work out, but damn if it wasn't a fun match.
