I would imagine it wasn't because you were wrong about Guadreau it's because you were adamant and blasted everyone who disagreed with you as being in for a reality check when Gaudreau signs here. You did this for over a year.

It was not your prediction, it was your cocksure attitude and mocking/attacking style against anyone suggesting the opposite might happen.

It was confidence the deal would get done and it technically was agreed to until he backed out at the last minute. I said I got it wrong, what more do you want? I guess I can never speculate again on here. I certainly was not the only one who was confident the deal would get done. I also clearly said this was just a gut feeling. I didn't say anything in absolutes.

Dude. You weren't just confident. You were flat out psycho towards everyone . Straight up, you went so far over the bi polar line and then now all of a sudden you take issue with it getting thrown in your face?

Tkachuk back on Spittin Chiclets today. Reiterated that he was pushing for a 6, 7, or 8 year deal when he was coming off his ELC, but the Flames couldn’t make it happen.

Also sounds like there was some serious beef between him and Sutter. He doesn’t get into the details, but mentions he never talked to Sutter after he made his decision. You can tell he was holding back and said “you guys know I’m not allowed to say anything on here”.

I love saint Mathias, always loved him as a flame and am sad to see him gone, but no player goes against Sutter. He should be giving royalty's to the man because he has a lot to do with what he got (in terms of a contract) from FLA.

It's probably true that he demanded the captaincy and Sutter said F that which given recent actions looks like a good call.

People who figured that Tkachuk was a prototypical Sutter player just don’t know Sutter.
