So the premise of this useless book is that Biden felt he was the only one capable of beating Trump in the election, and in doing so would preserve democracy. For the world. Good on you Joe. At least someone saw the blinking red lights for what they were and tried to do something.
And we are going to paint him as the villain somehow while giving the people really trying to destroy the world order a complete pass. #### off Jake Tapper. #### you and your ####ing righteousness. How about someone with a platform step the #### up and do something. Maybe someone from the media. Oh. Can’t do that. My ratings might suffer. Enjoy the cheque from the book you self righteous jackass.
Well no ####. Here we are. And less than a month in we are collectively considering what to do when America decides to annex us.
I’m sickened by the fall I’m witnessing in real time, and it all comes down to spineless cowards in the media for being more concerned about their ratings than their purpose.

And to follow up on this post.
It is complete bull#### that they are blaming Biden in any way whatsoever.
90 million people in the US couldn’t be bothered to vote in the last election. Could. Not. Be. Bothered.
That’s on the American media. That’s on Jake Tapper and his ilk for not impressing the importance of the moment upon the populi.
And so we now face the dissolution of the world order that has enabled those very same apathetic voters to enjoy the freedom to demonstrate their completely entitled apathy.

The good news is that the good people at CNN have been uncovering the truth. It's a sin for the world to be subjected to Donald Trump for another 4 years.
The Original Sin is the original cover up. American's were lied to about the health and the mental fitness of their President! The American media dropped the ball so to speak.

That’s one take.
Another is that tens of millions of Americans are ignorant, entitled rubes who happily elected a narcissistic buffoon because he feels more authentic than the kinds of people they’ve always resented: the educated, the experts, the professionals, the serious, the principled.
Trump was elected by a constituency who are so unserious that they’d rather torch the whole edifice of rules-based liberal democracy and government than consider for a moment that the world might be more complex than they wish.
Nothing Trump is doing is the fault of Democrats or liberals. The people who voted for Trump are getting exactly what they wanted - a man-child running the country like it’s his personal plaything.

The US electoral system makes it quite rational for a lot of people to not vote.
There's little point to it in non-competitive states, which is most of them.

He played a business man on reality TV. If you asked most of his voters, they'd tell you the boardroom set was his actual office, and that he's a highly successful NY real estate tycoon.
Fox News in particular has a far reach. They hammered this home endlessly over the past 8 years. They made a lot of money selling misinformation and hate.
But hey, at least leopards are now eating faces!
MAGA Senator Flees GOP town hall
Quote:
President Donald Trump won the rural northwest Kansas county of Logan with 85% of the vote. But opponents of the president’s recent actions and concerned Kansans from as far as Overland Park trekked to the small town of Oakley to voice their anger.
As soon as Marshall entered the meeting, people booed and started peppering him with questions and comments about the war in Ukraine, the hollowing of federal agencies and rural health care.
The funding pauses Marshall discussed have had broad impacts, including freezing potentially millions of dollars of payments owed to Kansas farmers for work they already completed.
About 20 percent of federal workers are employed by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Chuck Nunn, a local resident at the event, brought up concerns about the Trump administration’s funding freezes and job cuts affecting veterans.
“That is a damn shame,” Nunn said as members of the crowd applauded.
“I’m not a Democrat, but I’m worried about the veterans,” another man said in agreement.
After the back-and-forth with the crowd, Marshall abruptly ended the meeting as members of the crowd booed and shouted.
“We don’t have time for everyone to stand up. I do got two more commitments today. I appreciate everybody making the drive out and God bless America,” Marshall said before walking out to shouts and boos.

President Donald Trump's close confidant and billionaire backer Elon Musk has supported a call for the U.S. to withdraw from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and the United Nations (UN).
In a post on Saturday night, Musk endorsed a suggestion from user @GuntherEagleman, who wrote: "It's time to leave NATO and the UN.

Pretty wild how all this stuff just keeps working out so well for Putin, eh? Just a coincidence, I'm sure. This is pretty solid evidence the Deep State does not exist, or they would have put a stop to this long ago. I didn't expect America to be this ####ing weak, but here we are. Paper tiger.

The Kremlin said in remarks aired Sunday that the United States' sudden shift in foreign policy "largely aligns" with its own position.
"The new administration is rapidly changing all foreign policy configurations. This largely aligns with our vision," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told a reporter from state television.
"There is a long way to go because a lot of damage has been done to the whole complex of bilateral relations. But if the political will of the two leaders, President Putin and President Trump, is maintained, this path can be quite quick and successful," Peskov added.

Good you're stupid.
You have no evidence they lied. There was still a choice and anyone with a memory would have picked a any of ~350M Americans ahead of him. The choice wasnt between him and Biden. This happened because too many people are too disinterested in the world to understand what they themselves need. Everything that has happened so far is so much worse than we should have hoped for, but well within the realm of predicted outcomes.
This is happening because of Americans. They need to own the fact that they have joined GWBs axis of evil by choice.

Yep. Interesting that the original subtitle of Kevin Roberts’ book, Dawn’s Early Light: Taking Back Washington to Save America was Burning Down Washington to Save America.

Trump says he’s moving forward on a US Crypto Reserve, calling out Ripple, Cardano, and Solana by name.
Trump: A U.S. Crypto Reserve will elevate this critical industry after years of corrupt attacks by the Biden Administration, which is why my Executive Order on Digital Assets directed the Presidential Working Group to move forward on a Crypto Strategic Reserve that includes XRP, SOL, and ADA. I will make sure the U.S. is the Crypto Capital of the World. We are MAKING AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
And a lawyer responds...
Of course this is illegal; it’s also obviously financial market manipulation without even a scintilla of public interest attached. An empowered financial regulator would look to see who benefited from trading in those three non-market leading coins immediately before this was posted.

The guard rails keeping American democracy didn’t fall overnight. The dismantling has been going on for years/decades.

I don't know if Dick Cheyney knew what he was actually doing during his time as VP but he made serious headway into the dismantlement. Like did he know the long term effects of his efforts or was it just a short sighted power grab.

And of course, regardless of your thoughts on crypto, it's utterly pointless. There is no "strategic" reason for the US to have a reserve in crypto. This is purely for them to help fellow grifters get some liquidity.

The only reason to use Crypto is because you require untraceable currency.
The only reason you require untraceable currency is because your activities are illegal.
This is a way for the Trump "government" to transfer wealth to global leaders without it being tracked. I.e. he can take tax dollars, convert them to Crypto under the guise of a "reserve" and then send the money to Putin.
Because he's a Russian agent.
The GOP will go along with it because they like power. MTG would be refilling the weight rack and dining out once a month at Applebees without Trump. Matt Gaetz would be getting railed in prison as a child molester. Lindsey Graham would... still be a closeted anti-gay legislator who is gay. So exactly the same.
The grift is now global, and likely that genie is never getting back into the bottle.
(For those of you who are purely self interested - the name drops are likely pump and dump. So if you weren't in already, it's probably too late.)
