Propaganda Minister Bob Stauffer thinks that the Flames are "a completely healthy team." Pretty clearly this is the reason the injury ravaged Oilers lost on Saturday night.
*EDIT* — And now he claims that the officials admitted after the game that they "blew the call" on Hathaway and McDavid in the first period when McMuffin was cut... I call BS.
But then they blew McMuffin's high stick on Hamonic, seconds before Hamonic threw him down like a child, so it evens out.

He also said that Rasmus Andersson yelled down the Oilers hallway after the game "you guys ####ing suck and you're all losers".
Rasmus Andersson seems to really drive Booster Bob crazy.

As bad as Edmonton is and always has been, I would have never believed that we'd be approaching the darkest of dark days again.
Remember the jersey tosses? The 11 goal losses? The 20 game losing streak to end the season?
Those were depths that I figured were untouchable. Sure, the Oilers might stay in the realm of mediocre to terrible, but with McDavid around it seemed impossible that they'd ever approach those depths again. Miss the playoffs, struggle mightily, continue the old boys club etc. Definitely saw all those things happening.
But to actually reach a point where they are very close to achieving a new low for this franchise in the last 13 years? I'm amazed.
